Bonnect Terms of Service

The term "Bonnect" or "Us" or "We"or "Our" refers to the owner of the service. The term "Service" refers to the service of Bonnect, including but not limited to www.bonnect.com and mobile apps published by Us. The term "You" refers to the user or viewer of our service. The term "Terms" refers to this statement of terms of service.

Welcome to Bonnect! Bonnect is an online service that provides a venue to enable persons who seek item(s) to purchase ("Buyers") from other persons who offer item(s) to sell ("Sellers"). If You continue to browse and use the Service, You agree that We are not responsible for your personal safety or successful trade arrangements and that You will comply with and be legally bound by the following terms of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern Bonnect's relationship with You in relation to the Service. If You disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use the Service.

ELIGIBILITY. If You currently are a registered student/staff/faculty or an alumni of college and/or university and You are at least eighteen (18) years of age and You have an acceptable academic email address, We grant You a limited, non-assignable, nonexclusive, revocable license to create one account on the Service and access the Service in compliance with the Terms; unlicensed access is unauthorized. An individual who has been convicted or adjudicated of a criminal offense in any jurisdiction or who was on probation, parole, or work release status, or who has been incarcerated is NOT eligible to participate in the Service.

USE. You agree to input and post only accurate, current and true registration information. You agree not to collect, display, share, solicit or use users' personal and/or contact information. We reserve the right to refuse postings that do not comply with the Terms, to refuse postings from any particular individual or entity, and to change the Terms at any time without notice. We reserve the right to delete inappropriate posts at their sole discretion.

CONTENT. All content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such content. We may not monitor or control the content posted via the Service and We cannot take responsibility for such content. Any use or reliance on any content or materials posted via the Service or obtained by You through the service is at your own risk.

Without limiting the foregoing, to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, THE BONNECT ENTITIES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not perform background checks or verify information. To the extent desired, You are solely responsible for obtaining and verifying this information. We assume no responsibility for the use of this information. We are not responsible for any action of and user of this website or Bonnect mobile app.

RESTRICTIONS. We reserve the right at all times (but will not have an obligation) to remove or refuse to distribute any content on the Service, to suspend or terminate users, and to reclaim usernames without liability to you. We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information as We reasonably believe is necessary to (i) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (ii) enforce the Terms, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect the rights, property or safety of Bonnect, its users and the public.

You may not do any of the following while accessing or using the Service: (i) access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Service, Bonnect’s computer systems, or the technical delivery systems of Bonnect’s providers; (ii) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures; (iii) access or search or attempt to access or search the Service by any means (automated or otherwise) other than through our currently available, published interfaces that are provided by Bonnect (and only pursuant to the applicable terms and conditions), unless you have been specifically allowed to do so in a separate agreement with Bonnect; (iv) forge any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or posting, or in any way use the Service to send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information; or (v) interfere with, or disrupt, (or attempt to do so), the access of any user, host or network, including, without limitation, sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, mail-bombing the Service, or by scripting the creation of content in such a manner as to interfere with or create an undue burden on the Service.

MODERATION. You agree We may moderate Bonnect access and use in our sole discretion, e.g. by blocking (including, but not limited to e-mail addresses), filtering, deletion, delay, omission, verification, and/or access/account/license termination. You agree (1) not to bypass said moderation, (2) We are not liable for moderating, not moderating, or representations as to moderating, and (3) nothing We say or do waives our right to moderate, or not.

COPYRIGHT. This website and Bonnect mobile app contains material which is owned by or licensed to Us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, logo, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions. All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website.

MISC. Users complying with prior written licenses may access Bonnect thereby until authorization is terminated. Otherwise, this is the exclusive and entire agreement between You and Us. If a term of the Terms is unenforceable, other terms are unaffected. If Terms translations conflict with the English version, English controls.
